how often do you think people check their email?

i replied to an email yesterday, but this person has like 3 diferent adresses. ITs been 24 hrs, how long before i send another email, maybe the email got lost in spam?
 
to a company? it's saturday.
personal? it's a saturday and the person partied too hard?

otherwise i dont know what to tell you, you cant generalize how often people check email, some people with blackberries will check every 5 minute, someone who stands by the PC 24/7 will have the email client open or something similar to gmail/yahoo notifier. then some dont check that often... like once a day when they get their snail mail
 
My wife looks at her email about once a month, and it drives her friends crazy. She just doesn't like it and much prefers to talk to people on the phone or in person.

yeah some people are like that. emailing takes the communication away.

i hardly talk to my old HS friends anymore, we always email each other
but i prefer to talk on phone with old college friends... just to catch up on a few things you can't do it in email....
 
Gotta love webmail... :roll:

Mine is checked every 10 minutes automatically using POP3. I'm on at least once per day for several hours, so there's no way that much time would pass before you got a reply from me. No way you'll get a phone call, either. God, gotta love all the clowns with their damn cell phones. :roll: Worse than women! WTF, email is best way to communicate, IMO. Gives you a text proof of what has been discussed, and when. And, people don't have to read or reply till it's convenient for them. I REALLY HATE when somebody calls saying, "I just got your email..." :|

oh yeh society should totally drop all forms of verbal communication and everyone should go home and just send emails to everyone.
 
I constantly check it basically, since I keep Entourage open in the background and it automatically runs Send & Recieve every 10 mins.

My gf checks her e-mail a couple times a day. My mom once a day at the most.
