How often do you think of a thread

I find myself thinking of something funny/interesting/cool that would be good on OT and then never start it because the thought strikes me when i'm away from the computer and when i get there i'm just like, meh. Do you do that a lot too?

I just asked the same question, albeit in a different way.

To answer your question, I try to remember all my ideas so that I can post them when I'm on the computer. Ofcourse, sometimes I forget to post immediately but I will almost always remember the idea and post about it at some later date.

I've almost started many threads. I usually don't because then as the OP I gotta nurse the thing and keep it going. Too much a hassle. <<<why doesn't this work anymore and who decided changing it was a good idea??

Most of my threads get buried after a few replies. They typically lack furious outrage at a major retailer, treadmills, anti-religion rhetoric, jalba links & repoxied jokes.

And alas, my thoughts & ideas rarely warrant introspective analysis.

yeah. sometimes i'll even start writing it and then halfway through i'll think that no one cares, it's not really that funny, i'll just get flamed, etc. and then just delete it.

How come I don't see a thread for Moderator nominations in Off-Topic and L&R? All the other forums have them going (well, nominations ended). I thought I'd make one but just kinda forgot about it.

I basically never start a thread... First off, like theprodigalrebel said, if its not religion or plane on threadmill etc, 10 first replies will be "no one cares"

Second, if its about asking advice on anything you did/are about to do, you will be flamed by the holy brotherhood... somehow the OP is always guilty, and since everyone here is a saint...

Third... Frankly I prefer to keep my thoughts to the select few persons I know will enjoy what I have to say, instead of dumping them in a public message board

Yeah me too. Sometimes I'll be thinking to myself "this is dumb..." and just close the box.
