I used to sweat everyday when I was a kid.. because I was so active.

Since I try to go to the gym everyday, I sweat everytime I go... but from lifting weights. I rarely do cardio

I'm not sure if I'm sweating enough... not that I feel weak or lazy or anything

Same here, I do some intense working out, so I need a towel to wipe off the sweat (I excercise in boxers, since it is so hot in my house down in Southern Cali).

Hm, good subject. About a year ago, I started sweating A LOT more than I use to. I've been losing weight since 2002 and now I seem to sweat excessively. For instance, I'm driving to the lakes with the AC on and I still manage to sweat...sometimes enough to make it drip off my shirt sleeve and onto the seat. It's disgusting. It's not a stinky sweat like exercising is, but it's unscented. Is this just a phase like my mom says? She says she had it for about a year or so when she was in her middle-teens, but I'm 22. I'm not sure if I should go to the doctor or what, but it's really annoying...I never wear any colored shirts anymore.

There have been times when I've worn two shirts and a fleece jacket on a cool day to school and I'll still manage to sometimes soak through all that and you can see it on my jacket! I can also be eating and out of the blue it'll break lose and start dripping.

Please advise...anyone else experience this? I've looked it up on the web and it seems I may have 'auxillary hyperhydrolysis', but I don't want to have surgery. I eat quite healthy and still exercise.

Thanks

I have read up on this on Webmd and they are actually recommending botox injections to prevent the sweat. I sweat ALOT, and have always sweated more than most folks. I have lost a crapload of weight and even before when I was younger, and downright skinny, I sweated like Pavorotti climbing stairs. It can be embarrasing at work to have pit stains when it's 70 degrees in the office and if I am put in a stressful situation or warm place, the sweat literally pours off my head.
Here's the link from Webmd, hope it helps
