How often do you sort your bookmarks?

While sorting through my bookmarks a thought came to me today. How often do most people actually sort out their bookmarks and clean up old dead links or links to stuff that they don't use anymore? Have you found any real Gems that you had totally forgotten about hiding away in your old bookmarks? I know I have.

Im actually proud of myself at the moment. When I read this thread the first thing i thought of was REAL bookmarks.. ya know.. the one ya put inside a book!!!! maybe im not so addicted to the net as i used to be... but my favorites is organized about 2-3 times a year.

It was out control for me. I had desktop PC, workPC, work Laptop....just got Yahoo Toolbar now I share all the bookmarks between them.

That's a very smart idea. There used to be a program a number of years ago that would do much the same thing. Don't remember the name of the program or the company (they've gone out of biz since then) but for some reason every time I think of them I think of elevators. Hmm. But either way, it was a great program for bookmarks too.

At least every day. If I create a new bookmark, it gets put in the right folder as soon as possible!
