how often do you replace your mouse

how often do you replace your mouse? is it for newer features or because your old mouse breaks down?

The only time I ever replace my mouse is when 1)it becomes out of date (like ball mouse to optical) or 2)it breaks. Just because of the fact that I hate to get used to a new mouse.

Ditto!

Last time I replaced it when someone needed a keyboard/mouse set and wanted the set I was currently using. They got my set at about half price and I upgraded.

Replaced ball with optical, optical broke, replaced it with new optical.
Either breaks, or gets crappy (ie: ball).

I purchased a Logitech MX510 mouse for my gamin fix. and also because it was also much more comfortable to use than my old microsoft basic optical mouse. I won't be upgrading this one though unless it breaks, or some new ubertacular ForemanGrill/laser mouse combo comes out. (OR USB becomes obsolete 😛)

every time logitech comes out with something better.

mouseman to mouseman optical to mx500 to corded laser mouse.

I've had my Intellimouse for many years without probs, if it ever breaks I will steal the one I bought for my wife because I don't think they make them anymore 🙁 Its the only 5 button mouse I've ever liked.
