This was the first time in my life that I got sick, about four weeks ago and then got well last week some time and then finally three days ago got sick again.

How often do you relapse? How can I prevent this?

It's not a relapse. Once you get a cold, and you are better, you have developed an immunity. Now you've got another one. Good luck. You're going to get many more if you have never been sick in your life.

Preventing colds is just like preventing any illness. Don't be near people that have a cold or touch your eyes or mouth after you've touched a light switch or something. Eat right, etc :p

I take calcium (which also includes magnesium and vitamin d and some other stuff), vitamin c, and vitamin e every day and I haven't had more than the sniffles in a few years.

Technically you can't relapse with a cold virus. You can get an other strain... but the same one can't come back.

Wow, that sucks a fat one. The thing is, I got sick, better. I originally caught it from my boss, he got better, sick again. Perhaps I got the second strain from him? That sucks a fat one man. If he keeps getting me sick I may have to look for another job.
