been over 5 years, and sometimes i run into folks and say hi to them, but more often than not, i've forgotten about them all. we're all getting married and relocating, so it's harder to communicate regularly.
I barely talk to college friends even. I went to my friends wedding last summer from high school. We never talk anymore though. Jsut a right of passage type thing I guess.
If I lived back home though, I'm sure my life would be totally different.
Anywasys, it's totally true. "Friends are temporary. Family is forever."
it's been almost 10 yrs since I graduated. I only kept in touch with one of my friend and we became very close after we graduated. She's married now so we don't talk as much but we're still good friends. i lost contact with everyone else
high school friends? i still talk to one but that is it. i find that i don't have much in common with them anymore so why try.
as for college friends i hang out with one on the weekends and talk all the time with him. my other college friends have basically disappeared since they moved back home.
I graduated 25 years ago and there are about a half a dozen high school friends that I talk to regularly. The rest of them I could care less about. Most of them I haven't seen since my 10 year reunion and I didn't even go to my 20 year reunion because I only care about seeing the ones I care about.
Out of college for almost 2 years now. Lived with high school friends even during college (we all went to different colleges in NYC). Very good friends at least 5 people I knew from high school.
I talk to about 5 or so from high school that were my closer friends. I usually talk to them once every 3 or so months to catch up and see how each other is doing. We all live in different parts of the country.
I've been out of high school for almost 5 years now and I talk to 2 of my high school friends on a regular basis. In fact, it's rare that there's a day that I don't talk to at least one of them. We graduated in NE; one of them is still there, one's in OH, and I'm in SC, so it's all AIM but it still counts. Those two friends are actually still my best friends.
I don't keep in touch with any of my friends from high school. But now I hang out with a lot of guys from my high school that I wasn't friends with while we were still in school.
