How often do you get your hair cut?

I finally got my hair cut last week after about.... oh, somewhere between 6 and 9 months. I got it cut because it was getting in the way when I was trying to work on my car, kept falling in my eyes and stuff.

Do you guys all keep it neatly trimmed, or are you lazy like me?

I look silly with a short haircut, so I have it midway . . . and then when I don't get it cut regularly, it starts getting ugly . . ..

I cut my hair so infrequently that I usually just tell them to "cut off seven inches" or ten inches or something. That's how often.

Every 4 to 7 weeks, I buzz it myself with the #3 guard, use a scissors to trim over my ears, and carefully shave my neck. I've been doing that for a couple years now, since I figured out that I actually look decent and clean with my very simple cut. Other cuts that I used to get from a barber/stylist only look decent for about 3 weeks, and I'm too lazy and cheap to go in every 3 weeks for a cut.
