How often do you get to see your parents?

i live about 30 miles from mine. see them about every other weekend. im in college though so im not completely independant
 
I see my dad almost every day.
My mom lives in TN and I see her once or twice a year, but we email on a regular basis.

every xmas, at least once during the summer and I try a to make at least 1 other trip back home

they live in MD and I live in CA

funny thing is that I see them as much as I see my brother who is in San Jose while Im in Los Angeles
 
I just saw my parents for the first time in over 8 years last month. I've been away for 8 years in the Army and then University. Moving back home near them in a few short months.
 
For those who are making fun of the word meet, he said he's from India.

In american english, you would normally use the word "see". As in, I see my parents once a year. Meet usually refers to the first time you talk with or are introduced to someone. As in, I met my wife 10 years ago.

Anyway, I see my mom once or twice a month. I haven't seen my dad in a couple years. They are divorced but both live in the same town that is about a 3 hour drive from my house.

thanks, didnt realize the 'subtle' difference in the usage of meet and see 😉

but yep I havent seen them for sometime now.
 
usually once a week, but sometimes I go 2-3 weeks without seeing them. I live 2 miles away; I usually stop by their house on Saturdays to do my laundry and swipe food 🙂
 
3-5 years.

Try to see all of our kids at least 1-2 years. Some need it more often.
 
sometimes i wish more. i only see them whenever i head home, which is usually major holidays now.

i want to move back up north though.
