I fill up multiple times weekly sometimes. Sometimes as often as every other day.

I don't do it on a time basis. I just fill up whenever my gas tank is around 1/2 full.

incredible...

so far no one else has mentioned it might depend on the price of gas at the time.

high price = put a little in
low price = fill it up

I fill up 2x a week @ 25gallons. So about $105-$120/wk for me. I drive an F-150 and I have a 38 mile commute to work one way plus various other trips to get groceries and other things. (I get a lot of windshield time).

I also have a Harley that gets about 50mpg that I ride anytime it's warm enough so during the summer my fuel costs drop significantly even though gas prices tend to rise. (I was spending about $25/week back when gas was $3.00/gallon)

doesn't make any difference to me. In fact i usually spray it all over the gas station after i've finished filling up

About every week or so here. I average about $40 per fill-up.

Got a truck or something?

Yup... it also requires premium because I supercharged it. I still get about 16 mpg during winter with 4x4 most of the time, and 19-20 mpg in the summer. I also drive about 30 miles a day on average, I figure.

Twice every week. I go on long drives during the weekend for fishing sometimes ~ 280m roundtrip. My commute to work is 27m one way.

I try not to drive anywhere that I don't have to these days. When I make trips to the stores/restaurant districts, I try to combine as many errands into one trip as possible.

are you driving a hybrid or what??

i only get about 350 or so for a full tank.

Heh heh.. just thought of something for a laugh...

At work we fly a small fleet of Boeing 727's.

Here's some fuel info on those bad boys:

It can hold approx. 51,000 pounds of fuel which is about 7,600 gallons.
This would allow a distance of ~3,000 miles on one "tank"
Or about 0.4 mpg!
Each engine at cruise altitude burns through 400 gallons per hour.
Total fuel consumption is 1 gallon every 3 seconds.
During takeoff, the fuel burn is 1 gallon every 0.8 seconds!

About the only thing we are more economical than, is a top fuel dragster.

Twice a week...I have a 100 mile roundtrip commute and fill up at about a quarter tank, so every 3 days.

It all depends on how much I ride my bike and how many weekend trips I take. If I don't take many weekend trips I can easily go a month without getting gas. Work trips also make me fill up but I get reimbursed for those, so it doesn't really count. So far this month I have only filled up once and that was only 3/4 of a tank. I will have to fill up this weekend to drive home though.

OP should really add to the poll to see driving patterns or actual distance traveled daily.

Anyhow, fill up every 3-4 weeks and get 1,000km on a tank of gas with my Civic Hybrid. Daily commute is about 25km.

Once every 2-3 weeks. Taking the subway to work is a big help. I'm thinking of just selling my car because the cost of insurance just doesn't seem worth keeping it.
