When my younger brother (11 years old) died Nov 6th 2002 from cancer. After that I became a tough SOB and nothing can phase me.
 
just to cry daily during adolescent years, and pre-adolescent years.
Now I just cry during sad or very touching movies...

My mom had ovarian cancer... she got a hysterectomy before she went thru menopause.
