How often do you clean your glasses?

I seem to fall under the overly compulsive category, cleaning them ~3-5 times a day.

How about you?

( come on, I know 80% of you geeks wear them =P )

yeah, 2-3 times a week on my shirt, about once a month i run them under hot water and towel them dry

When I worked in the shop, I cleaned them every time I washed my hands, which was at least twice per day. I don't need to wear them, since the Rx is so mild, but when i have to don them, they get cleaned. Always buy glass lenses too. Can't stand the damned plastic ones, which get scratches, and that's far worse than dust!

I don't wear glasses but my bro takes his with him when he takes a shower so i guess it gets cleaned there... :Q

I have a 7 month old baby who loves to grab them. So i end up cleaning the finger prints off them at least twice a day.

I think the best way to clean my god-awful glasses (I hate wearing glasses) is to use lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol. You can buy a container and fill it with isopropyl alcohol and then drop your lint-free cloth into it. Whenever you need to clean your glasses, just grab the cloth from the container and wipe away.

BTW, isopropyl alcohol does a great job of removing those weird film build-up on your glasses. It rarely happens, but it does happen. Normal water and soap cannot remove the film effectively.

Define "clean". I wipe off my glasses at least twice a day with my shirt, but I can't remember the last time that I cleaned them with soap and water.
