How often do you clean out your wallet/purse?

Every once in a great while I'll get this urge to clean out my wallet. Mostly getting rid of business cards I've picked up or old gas receipts. I'm sitting here sifting thru this rather large pile of gas receipts and I stumble across a few from my last trip to Buffalo, NY which was August of 04! lol. I'm such a pack rat. Now where is that shredder.......

I use a money clip with slots to hold my credit cards. So no cleaning out for me.

every time I change purses.

I have a wallet and set of accessories to match every purse I own. I use one purse most of the time... but if i need to use a different one for a day or two, I clean everything out.

I pay hundreds of dollars for my purses, so I take very good care of them. I never let them get to the point of needing to be cleaned.

Once it gets too thick to be comfortable. Unfortunately it's due to receipts and crap and not full of money. 🙁
