How often do you check to see if your wallet is still there?

I have OCD about this. I check several times an hour. Sometimes even seconds after I just checked that it was there.

A lot. I have a habit of patting my pockets to check for my four friends - phone, knife, keys, wallet.
Did you know pickpockets watch for this kind of behavior so the know which pocket to go for?

I usually only check for my wallet before leaving the house, and then before entering store/bank/whatever.
I probably check for cash more often though, usually because i forget if i can afford anything or not 😛

wallet = ID, cards.. etc

cash = pocket.

Very often. Especially since I ride the metro daily to get to work. I even close the button on my pant's pocket to make sure it doesn't disappear 🙂

You think you have OCD? I have OCD, I pay for gas at the pump by swiping a credit card. The card never leaves my hand, but less than a block from the station I have to pull my wallet out and make sure the card is in my wallet.

I usually do a check for keys, wallet, and phone every time I stand up. I also check my fly pretty frequently.

When in the public, like every couple minutes or whenever someone gets close to me. I use the far back swaying hand to feel for it... I am soooo smooth. 🙂

I also check all the time... I'm very overprotected... if I'm in a very crowded area, I'll take my wallet out and put it in my front pocket...

when i leave my house, leave my car, leave work, leave a friends house... causual check for the wallet to make sure its there...

public place every so often a casual check will be performed...

I only check a couple of times a day or a little more frequently if I'm out shopping to make sure I didn't leave it some place.

I use my wallet as a sort of codpiece in my pants so I can always know that it's there. As an added bonus, it inflates my manly bulge.

all the time when i'm standing up/walking. when i'm sitting, I can feel it .. no need to check.

Frequently, bordering on OCD, I suppose. Then again, I can check to see that the oven's off two times before leaving the house and then think, while driving somewhere "did I leave the oven on?" Maybe it's lousy short term memory too...

Lol, I also do the altoids in left pocket, knife/keys in right pocket, wallet in back pocket check. Its absolutely insane when I go on missions for the Army. We bring so much damn gear that I quadruple check everything.
