How often do you call your parents (or recieve a call)

I usually don't call them but they call me about once a week. Which is fine, it doesn't bother me too much, only when she leaves about 8 messages when I have my phone off or something. They always start the same "*deep breath* hi rob, this is mom, just....".

I'll call if something good (or terrible) has happened, but never for day to day things. What's the point? I haven't lived at home for three years, do you really need to hear how my day went 😕? But it keeps them happy I guess, which is fine if they ever want to donate to the starving rob fund.
 
My father calls me every day. 😱 If I don't pick up, he calls my wife. If she doesn't answer, panic ensues.
 
Well I talk to them more often because beside the family relationship, there is a professional one, but I would say I have personal conversations that last more then five minutes with one or both of them, maybe once every week.

I use to call my mom every day when I first moved to Wisconsin (originally from Florida) but now she's lucky if I call her once a week. She tries to make me feel bad for moving so far away (I'm 27 years old for pete sake). I haven't talked to my dad in almost 10 years.
 
mom calls me about 3 times a week but the conversations are pretty short, just to check up on eevrythingg

I haven't talked to my mom since Christmas. She does not call or e-mail me. We don't have a good relationship, in fact she moved and changed her # and didn't tell me.
 
Heh, about twice a month. I call when something important happens or if something changes in a plan. Otherwise, my mom and I will email each other about once a week.

My parents are pretty much the same way, except that my mother is the worry wart 😛 She starts getting anxious if she doesn't here from me for 2 or 3 days; my dad is considerably more patient. He will eventually try to get ahold of me though, if only because mom is driving *him* nuts 😀

Once every few months

i am not much of a phone talker, it isn't like i don't love them , but i haven't lived near them for a loooong time, so chatting about the laundry or whatever, you know, anyway
 
I usually talk to them on the phone once a month or so.

However, I chat with my mom 3-4 times a week on instant messenger.

My dad and I exchange emails every so often... usually to pass jokes back and forth. lol
 
I talk to my mom at least once a day. I talk to my dad a few times per week and see them both at least once a week... or i try to.
