How often do you backup?

holy crappers...just finished backing up 4 hds ...150 cds in 5 days...
mostly vidcaps from my tunercard..and other stuff 😉

I have a vidcap of the bombing of baghdad...with the famous peter arnett, laughing about saddam's palace being bombed..he didn't know he was live....

I need more cd binders..should have grabbed more at the CUSA sale.

I think after my 2nd hard drive failure... I've learned that I need to start backing up files faithfully after I get my drive back from the RMA process. It sucks that I lost 20 GB of my own video captures that I've just started to edit. I'm just glad I buy new MiniDV tapes for every new thing I tape.

I don't back up.. my C drive is the throwaway OS partition that can be reinstalled anytime, and stuff that I want to save is mirrored across several drives. If I lose any of the pr0n, oh well.. there's hundreds of gigs more..

I backup my c drive that has all my programs and pictures about once a month, but I have a spare HD that I ghost it on to, that way I dont have to deal with cd's....my other 2 HD's can crash all they want, that stuff can be replaced fairly easy

I backup documents and critical stuff on the 15th of everymonth to one dvd-r. I don't back up "movies" or "mp3" to this disc...mp3's get treated different. More like my documents, ms money file...and all sorts of crap.
