How often do you backup your Computer?

Passwords are meaningless at home. 1 minute and you can get around the BIOS and OS password. So I don't use them at home where data is not important. Heck if someone breaks into my house, I have bigger problems to worry about.

At work, I use passwords, but those are more to keep the janitors from looking at porn during the night on my computer (I don't want the blame).

Yeah, and it has become a habit at this point. I feel weird if I walk away from a KB without locking it at this point.

Yeah, it's a leftover habit from living in the dorms. If you leave your computer open, it'll get messed with.

No, no need, I live in the house with my mom dad and brother, none have any reason to do anything, and if my brother messes with it, it's a good chance to have a servant for a few weeks :D

My computer can't even be turned on by pressing the power button. You have to type a password to turn it on. Then a password to go into the BIOS, as well as an OS password. Admin account is not shown, but Guest account is activated for no particular reason. Maybe someday I'll turn on the computer for someone to use and forget to login, and they can use Guest.

No lockdown, though, while the computer is on. Maybe I'll pw my screensaver. *edit* yeah, why not.

Got a pretty strong OS pass at home...I originally didn't have one but I enabled it during college b/c my roommate's friends were asses and would use my comp/download crap w/o telling me. Last backed up in April when I reformatted. Plan on doing so in a week when I get my new computer and install my OS on a new drive

No passwords, my rig is off limits under penalty of death.

As for backups, I do full backup of my main folder that has a copy of everything (important and trivial) the 1st of every month.

Yes, started since Jessica got on my computer and gave me a malware virus that I can't get rid of.

I do because I have to allow maintainence people to come into my place sometimes when I'm at work. I don't think they'll steal anything (they're nice people) but I don't want them finding my pr0n!......and any actual important files I might have....or just plain screwing the thing up.
