im helping an online friend whos who has to deal with 5fps (lol ik thats pretty bad). he wants a pc that can play games like skyrim, gta 4, ect.. Basically all the new games..

He doesnt really know anything about pc's, so i cant just give him a list of parts to buy because hes not going to know how to install all of them unless he takes the time to figure everything out.. which i dont think he will..

but anways after some searching, the best i could find was this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883227409

but then looking at the reviews of it, im afraid the pc could arrive to him broken.. i wouldnt want that to happen because his dad thinks pc's like that only exist in the 800-1500 dollar range and that its a scam... lol...

No scam. If that meets his budget, it's fine. It's fairly rare for gear to arrive broken and, if it does, NewEgg is very good at taking care of any problems. Don't put too much faith in NewEgg reviews. Especially, a product that only has 2 or 3.

heh a whole pc with a decent gaming card (I have a 6670) for the price of one high end videocard. :)

Cant see any issue with that. never had issues with newegg myself.

Newegg is really good about returns and exchanges, your friend shouldn't have a problem!

Just remember, they're a pretty big company, if they haven't figured out how to ship their products, they probably wouldn't be in business.
