How odd my MS optical mouse messes up with a tnt2 m64 but not a gts, just read

i got 2 lcds
when i had a gts on it the ms optical mouse scrolled fine down while moving the mouse
when i changed it to a tnt2 m64 the optical mouse while scrolling freezes when i move it around

yet the gts doesnt
anyone know why

could it be a driver issue ?
