lol... its like Jack Bauer got his phone stolen

Except he would've shot 65 terrorists, detained another 12 and questioned all of them, and blown up about 5 cars in that time frame.

Why arn't people like this going to IRAQ?
if i was serving in the army and saw this douchebag anywhere near me with a gun i'd probably shoot him on the spot out of fear that his stupidity would cost me my own life

I thought this was really cool at first, but now I think the guy running the website is a total douche. He is acting like this MINOR theft is the most important thing the police have to deal with. Calling the station over and over and over when they are obviously busy with real crime, and wasting police officer's time like that, he seems like kind and an egocentric asswipe.

He is letting the attention this is getting get to his head a bit, but I can't blame him.

I think he just got caught up in the moment... all that rallying behind him, he just thought he shouldn't disappoint people. I wonder how you would act if you put your real name out there, and millions of people turned their attention to you... and then people started to say it's all BS and just a ploy for you to cash in on something. It's easy for you to say you wouldn't care, but when YOUR name is out there, we'll see how you deal with it.

I think the Paypal link makes perfect business sense. You have hundreds of thousands looking at the site, why not put a non-obtrusive Paypal link there? I say let the idiots part from their money for no real reason.

In the end that is what he wants too. I don't think he is asking much. He is asking the NYPD to do their JOB/duty. Sure, don't expect them to immediately drop everything, but you should expect them to immediately start taking care of it (as in, putting it in the paperwork queue or whatever).
