My sister left her phone on the bus a while back and somebody stole it and told my mom to "fvck off" when she called it and talked to them to get it back, so they had it deactivated. It was a prepaid and would have run out of minutes anyway.

A few weeks ago my 7 year old found a Samsung 900 at the park and was determined to find the owner. There were only two other parents at the park, the first lady said no it was not hers, the guy with a little tike checked his pocket and said "Oh thanks. Must have fallen out" My wife said "How do you know it was his?" but I rememberd seeing him use it earlier at the park. Our phones are named "******'s phone" and "****'s phone" and HOME is the top preset so if lost just call home and ask for *****. My wife left her's in the baby seat of a Lowe's shopping cart a few years ago and that's exactly what happened.
