his site's gotten over 100,000 views in 6 hours (at least that's what he says), good host!

i wonder what would happen if the site were to get /. ..

it is just plain text.

Yeah, but /. will pull almost ANYTHING down.

Plus there's the pics on the bottom of the page...

I just did a search for Luis Pena on AKO (us.army.mil) - I have his unit's phone number in New York. :D I wonder if his commander would think this is embarassing.

How does the new SIM card have the pics taken with the old phone?

BTW, the guy who made this website has HORRIBLE storytelling skills. I was confused just reading that. Who is the military guy, the brother or the boyfriend? Who is "Luigi"? Why was he introduced without any introduction? Why is he putting quotes around things that make no sense?

I am not understanding this bit:

After a day of waiting, she had to go to the store and spend over $300 on a new Sidekick. When she put her SIM card in, she saw that the person(s) that had taken the phone had not only signed on to AOL leaving their name and password in the phone, but they had taken pictures of themselves.

So, the owner of the phone couldn't get the phone back, and decided to get a new phone. After putting in the SIM card in the new phone, they found out that the people who nabbed the original owner's phone has done something on the other phone?

How's that possible?

edit: never mind, found the answer.

I did that, too. Looks like Pena's story is legit; as to the MP thing. I can't find his unit's address, though.

I'm sure it was a typo and he meant "movie police." He's probably an usher at the local movie theatre.

I call shens.. Read the part where the poster claims to have been homeless in NYC.. Sounds a little to contrived if you ask me... Just like the AT noobs that come in here with incredible stories.

If you'd actually read the current page that has been addressed.

I didn't read the whole page the first time through, but it appears that the tub o'lard is a "family friend" and the MP isn't pictured, or was featured on one of the myspace links.

This is so awsome!!! Coming to you live from the INTARWEB... vigilantie geek justice in real time!

Whohoo. Don't fvck with the power of the web!

Thread of the year right here. I think the most entertaning part is reading all the new comments to that myspace video linked off of that website. New comments are being posted up faster than ATOT on a Friday lunch-hour!

:D:D:D

Great find!!
JR..

Even if this is shens, it's good cheap entertainment for the time being. Almost as good as the thread from somethingawful where the guy used the etherkiller on his neighbor's cable and burned down the house across the street!
