That's when he spotted a 1996 Chevy truck rolling down the road with a Ford Taurus in its cargo bed.
...
Wade told the trooper that he drove the car onto the bed of the truck.

Looking at that, it's surprising the front wheels remained planted on the ground. I mean, steering had to be next to impossible. Actually, just about everything would have been terrible with that much weight on the vehicle, regardless of where the weight was focused on the suspension. Over 3000 lbs extra weight on a small truck... I wouldn't even try to imagine trying that kind of weight in my Dakota... and that's ignoring the specifics of it being a car and hauling in that fashion.

He should have at least made a T of it instead of carry it out the back. Guess he wouldn't be able to drive it on then.

All the weight of the Taurus is on the front axle ... it probably wouldn't have fallen off if it hadn't done so already.

Wait, I'm no scientist or engineer or anything, but how the hell is that car not falling off the back of the truck?

I could have saved a ton of money on car haulers all these years. I could have been moving vehicle in the bed of my truck all this time.

Question is if you were riding behind him how space would you leave?
