Wow... muckin foron. I watched it a couple times, and I can't figure out why he did that.

Does he just suck that badly at driving?

Front wheel drive, they steer from the front and when in low traction situations during hard turns, they tend to understeer. Meaning, when you try to make a sharp turn at 40+ MPH in a car like that, it's probably not going to turn as much as you want it to.

Yeah, I know that's the case. It just seemed so ****** stupid that it blew my mind. Also, I didn't think he was going that fast. I just thought he kinda... sucked, you know? I thought he was lame.

And I like the Tiburon too.

If he was going fast enough, the airbag should've popped. The problem is, HIS didn't pop, only the passenger side blew. That's why they were telling him to smack himself in the head and sue Hyundai :p

Yeah, airbags are supposed to go off in collisions higher than like 15mph IIRC.

Meh, what fun is a car if you never get the tires squeeling;)

That's just classic. This just proves oversteer >> understeer;)

Buwhahah understeer ownage.
I almost crashed my stupid Pontiac Grand Am 02 into a curb, but managed to hit the curb with both wheels at the same time thus reducing the damage by far. I wasn't going insanely fast, but fast enough for it to understeer fairly badly. The shocks on the car also need to be replaced as the car loves to bounce around.
Had to get it re-aligned. Changed the rims so my parents wouldn't know what I did to the car ($90 or $80 per wheel so I lost like $160-$180 ARGGG).
My next car will be an AWD, that way more control.

And you'll still find some way to wreck it ;)

So how the F do you not turn ?

Edit: Err, understeer? Ive turned plenty of times at high speeds, you just adjust for it and dont be flooring it in 2nd gear while you make the turn.

Dude, I owned a 2002 Grand Am for a bit over two years. I put 32000 miles on it and took it over 100mph a few times. Several of my friends have also commented how I like to take some curves "a little fast". In all of that, I never once wrecked it or had a problem with the steering or the shocks.

Maybe I was lucky or.... ;)
