no shit! i just turn the wheel by hand and get it done quick enough. and i used to use pj1 on my chain, wd40 is not something that will really help.

Maybe he started as a bicycle mechanic. When I worked at a bicycle shop we used to do exactly what he did, by spraying the chain with WD40 and then running it through a rag held around the chain.

The only difference is that there is a hell of a lot more HP turning the chain on a motorcycle than there is hand peddling a bicycle.

All in all he is one dumb stump handed idiot.

Yup,
toss it on the rear stand, put it in neutral and roll it by hand. Anything beyond that is stupid, especially with the bike running.

Dumb mistake, sure, but people are being too hard on him. Everyone has done something as or more stupid but was lucky enough to skip any injuries. I give him mad props for getting pics and for this comment, which made me lol:
