Confucius say baseball is wrong. Man with 4 balls cannot walk.

As shown here not with 3 balls either.

Well, here's what the worldwide leader says

News: Valdespin was evaluated by a team doctor Monday, who said that he was OK after getting hit in the groin by a Justin Verlander fastball, ESPN New York reports. (Mon Mar 11)

Spin: It is unclear if Valdespin, who had homered earlier in the game off Verlander, will miss the Mets' next Grapefruit League outing, so consider him day-to-day until Tuesday's lineup is revealed.

Do I see beans in the picture?

Wear a fucking cup! How football and other sports guys don't wear a cup is beyond me.

Testicles are the worst design ever. Hmm... I could make sperm more heat tolerant, or I could hang the balls outside the body. Hanging free is definitely the way to go... :^S

How the hell does that happen? Was he trying to bunt? God, that would be like planning a surprise party for someone and having them shoot you in the face.

In college I got hit square in the dick point blank by a soccer ball when our goalie was clearing. He thought I was going to continue on since I ran the forward off the ball, and he cleared to my direction. I can't describe how awful that was. Anyone else who's had a dick bruise will know what I'm talking about, but I imagine it's how women talk about you just not knowing what labor is unless you experience it.

If I knew that guy's address, I'd send him an Olde English, which was what I used to ice my groin/take the edge off.

When I was in the 7th grade playing little league, I was on 3rd base and got the suicide squeeze sign. The batter missed the sign and swung away, lining one into my cup at a distance of about 20 feet. It hurt like hell and the cup broke into three pieces, but my two kids are proof that it worked.

In my high school career, I lead the league in hit-by-pitch for four years. It does not hurt too much if you can get it to hit you in just the right spot on your back.

The most pain I experienced from a baseball was, while playing catcher my senior year, I got hit in the meaty part of my ankle by a knuckleball that was suppose to be a curve (and the next pitch was fouled off the same spot!).

When I was in little league at the age of 6 (maybe even 5), I was playing third base and took a line drive to the forehead. It was basically a real-life version of what happened to Bobby in that old King of the Hill episode.

There's the extent of my baseball stories.

im pretty sure most athletes dont wear cups these days. most football players dont even wear pads where they used to. they claim its too limiting, but former players will tell you thats bs and these new guys are just trying to be cool.

gayle sayers talks about it quite often...

Where do football players not wear pads? Legs, I'm assuming, but which ones?

I guess it's easy to dismiss those pads when no one in the pros wants to tackle properly...

knees, thighs, shins, elbows... gale even goes as far as to say the pads they do wear are not nearly as protective as they once were, and thats why youre seeing more injuries.

not everyone agrees with him though. i dont think the nfl is nearly as brutal as it used to be, so the pads simply arent needed as much.
