I kept meaning to finish my personal statements and everything, but then a couple weeks ago I got rear-ended, and then it was just one thing after another.
Tried to finish them over the weekend, but I couldn't concentrate (darn you internet!), and I had my birthday on Sunday.
Finally finished typing 'er up and submitting the application. Deadline: "December 10." I certainly hope they didn't mean during regular business hours.
I feel so irresponsible now. Procrastination does NOT pay. I only hope I didn't disqualify myself for some retarded reason, or that my last-minute essay wasn't just below the mark they were looking for.
Moral of the story: Learn to stop procrastinating IN HIGH SCHOOL. Because you can get away with it, time and again...until one day it will actually matter.
Well, I guess at least the deadline for my second-choice school isn't for another few weeks. I think I'll just kick back and play Halo until then...NOT.
