How normal is it to have knees/shoulders cracking/popping all the time

I feel like my body is falling apart. My knees every once in a while will feel tense and in pain, and my knee cap feels like its grinding in there, and i have to kick my leg out a feel times to make my knee crack loudly and relieve the pain. When i throw darts, or any quick action throwing with my shoulder, it clicks maybe once every 3 times when i throw hard, and it hurts really easily.

With my shoulder, I used to not have any problem with it at all. Then i was laying on the sofa in an awkward position for a while, fell half asleep and when i woke up, my arm was clicking every single time i moved it a lot. Now it clicks almost everytime i rotate my shoulder and half the time i lift my arm over my shoulder. It feels like something is getting pinched inside.

I have cracking toes, ankles, shoulders, sternum, knees, wrists and hips.

I'm almost 30 and it's been that way since I can remember. Some of us are just wound different than others. The only thing I can suggest is to work on some flexibility and consider taking glucosamine. Those are the only things that I have found to help reduce (but not eliminate) the cracking and and assoiciated discomfort.

I'm 22 and my hips, knees, ankles, shoulders and back crack and pop all the time. Most of the time it's not painful, so I don't worry about it, but it is a bit scary to think that if this is happening already, what will I be like when I'm 60?

my right shoulder cracks sometimes when i try to fix my hair. my toes crack all the time because I DO IT ON PURPOSE.

<~~ 22

My left ankle hurts every day when I get out of bed for a good while, my right wrist hurts whenever I put strain on it or bend it, and my knees crack when I squat. The ankle comes from the way I stand at work, though. I don't know about the rest. I'm 20 years old. Kinda sucks. I'm really not looking forward to getting old.

My knees mke noises all the time at age 30. It's been going on for a while now.

My jaw snaps and pops on occasion. Thank you TMJ (TMJ is the condition).

Some joints crack on occasion, inda like cracking our knuckles, but larger knuckles so the noise is much deeper.

It's normal as far as I know.

EDIT: Your conditions sound worse. Tell you doctor about it next time you go in.

my shoulder pops when benching lots of weight or doing fly's

but one of my shoulders dislocates easily because I have loose joints. (or so the doctor has determined) and when it does it hurts like hell.
I'm 20, going to be 21 at the end of march

I also didn't play any sports in junior high or high school. sometimes getting bad injuries in high school sports can mess you up for life

I'm 25 and I sound like a bag of popcorn. I can pop pretty much any joint on demand. Been like that for years. I'll have to check my facts again but from what I've read, it's nothing to be woried about. Body joints popping is pretty normal.

let's see...most of the joints in my hand, my wrist, my elbow, my knees, my ankle, my toes, my neck, not so often my back. yea im 19 too but it's been like this for a while so I don't know though it never hurts.
