need to figurie how much to offer for this laptop, a friend of a friend is wanting to get rid of it

Dell inspiron 3800 650Mhz Celron, 128 MB System Memory, 20 gig hard drive, 8x cd rw, 14.1" display,
ATI Mobility M1 8 MB video, ESS Maestro 3 sound

oh and its green

tried to find similar systems around , found one on for about 280 "at the moment"
any input is appricated, i am thinking around 300 but i am not to familier wiht laptop prices
