I wouldn't touch the 2nd car with a 10-foot pole.
If you're that desperate, come down to Fl, I'll sell you my 2000 Si for $7K.
Its clean and it has a great stereo system already hooked up.
 
HOLY CRAP almost 300k miles and you're still paying $5000?! Are you insane? I'm looking for used car too and I'm already antsy @ 100k. I would balk @ 300k miles.
