My buddy is going to a charity auction tonight where they will auction off a package of tickets which include:

4 tix to Superbowl 50 yard seats
4 tix to NBA All-Star game courtside seats
4 tix to World Series box seats

I thought it would be around $50K at least. He thinks more like $20K.

BTW: He isn't going to attend these games, he'll more likely get rid of the tix.

I wouldn't bid.

I don't like sports.

just like the sign I made on my wall at work

"What can I say?? I AM A GEEK!"

Awesome tickets plus a huge tax deduction! Man, I wish I had that much disposable income...

My thinking is you could probably sell those tickets for much higher than you paid for them.

Imagine this. What if the NY Giants play the NY Jets? How much do you think those tix would go for?

Or if the Yankees play the Mets again (fat chance). I remember bleacher tickets were going for $1500 last year. Could you imagine 4 box seats?

20 seems right. a guy i knew had bowl tickets and the going price was about a grand each. now even if we double that for the tickets you're talking about...comes out to 24 grand. sounds right to me...wish i had money =(
