Current Specs:
S939 3200+ @2.0
1 gb Ram
x800xl

I've been noticing lately, namely with the new Microsoft Office 2007+winamp+firefox+AIM open, I've began to get a little delay inside of Office. Would upgrading to 2 gb of ram give me a large performance increase in games/multitasking? Or would the increaes of Ram be hindered by my slow processor/video card. Also, I was thinking of buying this RAM from newegg.

Anyone have personal experiences with G.SKILL ram? Thanks.
Thanks =].

i have the 2GB set of g.skill (ddr-500 and ddr2-800) and they work perfectly. i would expect the value sticks to perform the same.

you should definitely upgrade to 2GB, probably would end the stuttering and see a performance increase.

I upgraded my XP 1700 rig from 1GB to 2 GB DDR400 about 2 years ago, still running smooth, overclocked nevertheless.

i think 2 gigs would help you.

when you get this stuttering have your task manager open and check out ram usage.

if you are exceeding 1GB of ram then yes, 2GB will help you out, if you are not exceeding 2GB then it will be a waste of $$$$
