How much would it cost to pull a wisdom teeth if you don't have dental insurance?

I've had like 2 or 3 pulled when I did have insurance. The remaining one did not start to grow yet until now when I no longer have dental insurance. About how much can I expect to pay? Yeah I can call a dentist and yada yada but I'm curious before I look into it. Thanks.

Bring me a 40-ounce and some pliers and I'll yank that bad tooth for no charge at all.

And who is feeling the pain? I need the sedative.

Depends, if it's simple numbing shot and a quick yank, them maybe $200-$300 including x-rays. If you need surgery to get it out, maybe up to $500-$600 I would guess?

I had mine removed last Thursday and I paid $700 in addition to what my insurance paid. This was to have 3 removed.

actually you need to take a panoramic xray of ur mouth, then the dentist will be able to determine if there is space for that wisdom tooth

just had my 3rd tooth taken out a month ago

Christ almighty! I used to think that my dentist was expensive - until this thread. I'm glad I only paid like 55 dollars to get two teeth jerked...but I feel horrible for you guys.

Why don't you wait till you have dental insurance again? Are the teeth impacted? Did the dentist say you have to take them out ASAP?
I have all 4 of mine in, and they are growing in nicely. The dentist said I could take them out if I was too lazy to brush them 😉 but I didn't need to.
