How much would a mechanic want to install this in my car?

I've read up on them and its hard to tell the difference between them and stock if the installer does a good job. the only externally visible part are the switches.

working on doors is a pain in the ass, and it's WAY not worth it in a 10 year old civic.

I bet that most car stereo shops could do this in 2-4 hours. Most of those shops charge on average, $40/hour. The window kit shouldn't take them more than 2 hours, same with the power door locks. I'd guess ~$100 for each kit.

I dont think it's worth it... I have heard of many many ppl's aftermarket PW & PL kits go out after only a couple of years of use... even dealership installed kits only lasted a couple of years before they stop working...
