How much would a "Corsair(TWINX512-3200LL) 2-3-2-6" be worth now?

(2x256mb)

I bought it for $140 on november, 2003 at newegg. How much do you guys think it is worth now?

I want to sell this ram since I have a new motherboard that can use better a ram... but I have absolutely no idea what it's worth now 🙁. All of the retailers do not carry this ram anymore so I can't price check like that either.

So, how much would a "Corsair(TWINX512-3200LL) 2-3-2-6" be worth now?

I bought my 2x512Mb PC3200 (with heat spreaders) Geil RAM for 150$ in Feb 2005. Now it's worth no more than 80$. RAM prices are falling rapidly, so I suppose yours is only worth about 40$ now, I might be mistaken.

Wheres the rule that says that price check isn't allowed?

I see a lot of these type of thread in this forum.. like..
"Should I upgrade X from Y? Is it worth it?"
"Which one should I buy? X or Y? Which one is worth more?"
"Which X item can I buy for cheap?"
"Which X memory can I buy with Y Dollars"

...are basically all price-checks too.

Not really.
Asking "What can I get for my item?" is a straight up price check.. something like which memory can I buy for $xx dollars, is not really... It's just asking for advice.

And the reason why it isn't allowed is because they do not want auctions to begin... Seems fair enough to me. If you have an intention to sale, post it in FS/T, and see if you can get what you think it might be worth. If it doesn't sale, try lowering the price...

No problem at all. (FYI, check here and search with the model # of your stuff, and you'll get a good idea)
