How much weight will thermal epoxy or ASII epoxy hold?

Do you think it would be enough to hold a copper waterblock upside-down and be the only thing holding it to the CPU under full load? I have never used either of these products and just want to know why I am gathering ideas in my head about how to cool dual PIII Xeons.
