1/2 ton, 6.5 bed, offroad package.

I should be able to cram a ton in there without breaking anything, eh? Maybe more? I used to put 3000 lbs in a 1/2 ton chevy that I had. <shiver> I wouldn't do that to my Ford tho....

Ford's official payload rating is under 1600lbs for the 4x4. However, you could probably do 2500lbs pretty easily without breaking anything. Trucks are made to be grossly overloaded.

The max load info for your vehicle is on that sticker in the driver's door area, iirc.

Well, moving from WV->Texas, I had about 1500lb of junk in the bed and towed a 2800lb car.

I have the F150 7700 4x4.

I wouldn't have any problems putting 4000lb in my truck. I love my Ford, but hell, it's a truck!
