How much weight can those "kiddie" beginner's 110 lbs sets hold?

I'm trying to get in shape and am using my old junior high weight set. It's one of those 110 lb beginners sets. It consists of a bench and weights. I have also bought some additional weigthts for it.

My question is how much can I safely benchpress on one of these things? I will probably never bench a lot because I have no spotters and the last thing I want is to be so tired that I can't lift the weight off my chest/neck and strangle myself.

I foudn the way around that is to not secure the weights on the bar. I've gotten in trouble before, and i'd just lift one side and the weights on the other side would slide off. Makes a lot of noise and might damage the weights, but hey, you're alive.

I'm also worried about the bench being able to hold that much weight (my fat body + weights). Also, I'm wondering how much the bar can hold safely. It was made for 110 lbs at most? So, can it hold 180 lbs or more?
