I probably end up watching about a few minutes every now and then only because friends turn on the tv. Personally I have no desire to ever turn my tv on for anything other then gaming or movies. Theres so much crap on nowdays thats its just not worth it.

I totally agree with...its always the same old, same old. The news has really become biased as of lately...

I watch almost no TV myself. There really isn't much on. If I had cheaper access to Discovery channel/TLC/History channel I would probably watch more.

True.. tlc, history and discovery are worth watching sometimes.. Still gotta deal with mindless ads though... and tracking shows is just annoying

I don't often sit there and just watch a show. Except for Everwood, Smallville, and John Doe.

Otherwise, I leave it on while I'm at the computer like I'm doing right now. Like the local news...

I counted the other day -- I follow 21 shows each week, not counting random TV watching. That adds up to a lot of couch time!

Long Live TiVo!!!!

I watch Simpsons and Seinfeld reruns. Other than that, most of the TV I watch is sports-related.

I've pretty much cut out all tv watching. The shows I used to watch, i now download commercial free off of the internet and watch on my 21" monitor from my bed. :) The TV only gets used for the occasional dreamcast game.

I watch the Simpsons and Star Trek, thats pretty much it.

I had cable, I'd watch TLC, Discovery, theHistory channel and Comedy Central, but those 3 channels won't justify the cable bill.

Very little... Maybe 2 hours per week. DVD player hasn't been used in over two months. Sort of a shame too, since my wife and I just bought a 27" JVC about six months ago. No gaming consoles either.

Well since I bought a 51" HDTV a couple weeks ago and finally got a digital cable/HDTV receiver yesterday I see my TV watching time going up and my internet time going down. ;)

Those PBS demo loops are absolutely gorgeous.

Probably 4-6 hours a week. Some local news and ABC news, but I already know what's going on from the internet. No way coud I justify the $46/month for analog cable!

I find that most of my time spent in front of the TV is spent cahnging chanels looking for 'good shows".

I only really look for The Simpsons, The Osbornes, The Really Real World (this season anyways). Then randoms shows on TLC, History and The Discovery Channel.

Soetimes I'll catch ahockey game.

TV has lost it's appeal to me except for maybe the PBS News Hour or DVD watching.

1. it's not interactive like this forum or many other forms of entertainment

2. The average show is geared twards the Jerry Springer audiance

3. Way to many commercials, a one hour show is less than 40 minutes now if you chopp off the credits

4. No good for my kids, a bunch of immoral dumb asses teaching my kids, no thanks
