OK, I've got a nice WinXP install in my shuttle SV24 microbox. (celeron 900, onboard sound and video) Problem is, the gaming abilities of this machine are fair at best, and heat becomes an issue when playing, due to where I have the PC mounted.

Oh yeah...I also have all the parts for another PC, except for the harddrive. That system is based on an Asus A7N266-E (yep, fully loaded N-force) combined with an XP 1700+.

Now, Im tempted to sell the SV24 and make the nforce machine my main machine (I have little need for 2 computers). Problem is, the drive for the n-force machine isn't here yet.

Sooo, would I run into big problems pulling the drive out of the VIA-chipset based SV-24 and putting it into the N-force box???

Not really a lot of trouble. Just be prepared to handle a lot of "Found New Hardware" messages as all the new controllers get accounted for. Just be methodical and lgoical and it will all work after a couple of reboots.

Cool

I'me thinking with Win XP and the Nvidia Unified driver disk, the install should run itself
