How much to tip furniture delivery guys?

They have to carry it up one flight of stairs and assemble it in my living room. Not sure what I should be tipping them.

I was about to say nothing, until you mentioned the flight of stairs.

So its not assembled? So it shouldn't be that hard carrying up the stairs? I'm sticking with nothing.

It depends on how much in added costs they try to add.

Check your receipt, if it includes delivery charge, than nothing. If its free delivery, more often than not it would be kind of you to top $5-$10 a person. When my family had our washingmachine/dryer combo delivered, I was going to tip the 2 guys $5 a piece, but when they used the bathroom and missed the foot-wide porcelain canyon, I kept it for myself :evil:

"we'll be there between 12-4" but they showed up @ 7. wasted my whole afternoon!
