How much to charge a coworker for working on his pc?

Depends on how well you know him I'd say. If you work with him daily and are pretty good friends I wouldn't charge him at all. If it's someone else from the office, 25 bucks for spyware clean up and virus scanning sounds fair. I had a fellow with two laptops that were having problems with spyware and viruses, and one wouldn't boot. He gave me 50 bucks to clean up the one and reload the other from the setup cd's and set them up with some good scanning programs.

have any of you guys ran into that Vundu Trojan yet?

damn, that thing was a bitch to remove for a while.

edit: you know what's funny? you tell people to get Dells for the tech support, right? well, i see it as one of the benefits anyway, especially if they are no0bs.

well the last PC i worked on was a Dell, only a month old, and it had already been screwed over by a trojan. lol

and????
you think because it was a Dell it is more susceptible to a virus or something?
