How much time off work do you have available?

I work sourly meaning I get my 40 hours as a salary, plus I get overtime...and anything over 44 hours a week is time and a half. Any O/T I get, I bank for time off later.

I now sit at just a little under 15 weeks available off. Still too busy to use any though 🙁

10 days, plus holidays, plus a lot of flex time
after 5 years i get an extra day a year up to 15 days/yr [for some reason the board will not come off this policy]

what do you do? i dont know if id want to be so busy making money that i couldnt take time off for more than a few months, tops

3 weeks vaca
14 holidays
2 floating holidays
2 weeks sick/personal time (add a week for every year you work)

Time off in the bank means squat if you're too busy to use it

27 days of PTO. just took a week off and have like 20 hours left over. may go to aruba in september and have to use 5 days PTO which i should have by then. not a chance i'd ever have 15 weeks saved up though, as i use my PTO to go on vacations.

i can also work basically whatever hours i want as long as i hit 40 hours. i used to work the normal 9-5ish but after i had a kid i'm now coming in by 7 and leaving like 2:30ish. usually fridays i just leave at like 12:30 though. but today i got in like 6:15 too.

monday and tuesday i got her by 6am and it was nice leaving by 2pm. i was home from the gym and showered by 4pm.

I get 3 weeks of vacation and I think 3 floaters. I work shifts, so in reality I get WAY more, I'm off almost half the time, it's awesome. I'd have so much trouble going back to an 8*5 job. Shift work needs to be the standard not the exception, people would be so much happier and have more time to themselves.

4 weeks vacation
1 floater
typical holidays
8 days of sick time
flex schedule 6-9am start times
3 work schedules to choose from. One typical M-F 8 hour days, 2-"9/80" schedules where you get every other friday off.

We get 11 holidays, 2 personal days (aka just more vacation days), and 2 weeks at my level. Which is not nearly enough. After 5 years experience it goes to 3 weeks, which I hit this year, but doesn't apply until next year. Sigh.

We can "buy" more vacation (aka unpaid vacation) up to 2 weeks. I had to buy some this year. Haven't used any yet, but I only have one regular vacation day left.

24 days. Maybe 1 hour of overtime a month. I might carry over some vacation this year only because I will be taking 4 weeks of Paternity leave when we have our third child in December (just under the tax buzzer). Otherwise I use every bit of vacation I get and it still doesn't seem like enough.

40 hours/week

25 days paid vacation + whatever holidays that don't occur on a Saturday or Sunday.

25 days off (5 are for sick days, but they're pretty lenient) and about 15-17 holidays per yr depending on how they fall.

The hours are really relaxed around here... I am a 40hr/wk guy but if it's not busy I can take off early which happens semi frequently. Been here 3yrs and have worked about 20hrs OT total over that time and was basically 2 separate occasions when crap hit the fan.

Overall I like the package... it's one of the reasons I put up with a slightly lower salary.

As it stands right now, I am currently right at the 0 days... Actually going to take off part of monday and temporarily go negative.

I get 5 weeks/year (Includes sick leave or vacation). Approx 12 holidays to go with it. But I seem to always use it all without accruing much for back-up.

I get a decent amount of time off (15 six + 12 PTO + 4 seasonal days + 8 holidays) but I only have 1.5 PTO days left (and most of my sick) as I use it frequently for vacations

Self employed-no paid days off (obviously) and very, very few actual days off. In the past decade I've taken only one vacation, which was about ten days. Everything else is a day here, half day there. The trick is to take the time when you can and enjoy it and take full advantage of every mental vacation you can-even if it is only a few hours long.

Two weeks (10 days), four floating holidays, and six federal holidays. Vacation time does not roll over, but it's not hard to use two weeks out of a year. 🙁

I have 512 hrs of PTO as of today. The cap is 540 for my company and then I think they start cashing you out end of our fiscal year if you are over the cap.

Summertime: zero.
Rest of the year: much as I want in-between projects.

I just wrapped up my big summer project so I'm enjoying my vacation. With the dollar so strong, it's great time to travel international.

I accrue about:
2.5 weeks of sick pay
5 weeks of vacation pay a year
+ 13 paid holidays
My non-holiday leave is accrued monthly, so I typically will take a few leave days per month and try to maintain a decent balance so I can cash out a week when I need to.

Currently, I have 4.7 weeks of sick leave in my bank and 7.5 weeks of vacation leave in my bank. I used to have a lot more sick leave, but in the past 3 years I took 2 months off for paternity leave to be with my wife and new kiddos.

Edit: Oh yeah. I also have more vacation time that I used to because I get stuck burning sick leave to take care of the kids' doctor appointments and when they catch something from daycare. I typically feel guilty about planning vacation leave or annual leave after I take unplanned sick leave and have to play catch up.

I earn 25-days ratably over the year. About 8hrs each paycheck.

I have 35 days banked, maximum of 40 can be banked.

I get three weeks a year, major holidays, plus Friday afternoons off over summer.

I think that I have 2 weeks left for this year.

Currently I'm maxed at 240 hours. I take a day off every other week, and a week during my birthday and cash out another one. And I have an insane amount of sick time available...something like 1000 hours.
