Say I'm from one state and I'm going to another. I pick up something that is 100lbs, can I bring it home via the airplane or do they charge me for it?

You think? What would it be considered as though? Well I'm pretty sure they won't cuz I know my friend's mom brought home rims from the Phillipines and they didn't charge her for shipping.

well, i know that if you're traveling overseas (i've been to palestine three times) and your suitcase is more than 70 pounds, then you do get charged by the airline. I dont believe you get charged if it is a national flight though.

In addition to the two checked bags, you can carry on one or two (depending on the airline) items IF they will fit in either the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you. If your item will only fit in the overhead, you might want to get a seat towards the rear of the plane so you get on first, increasing your odds of finding unused overhead space.

It's like this... 1 carry on & 2 lugg. or 3 lugg. or 2 carry on and 1 lugg.

International flights get one more.

Now, if it is overweight, they may charge you extra for it. check your ticket holding sleeves
