Comp sci. My grades could have been better. A lot better I'm sure. I just straight up didn't care about school. Nor did I care about what I was going to school for. I had next to no interest in it. And my grades did reflect that.
At this point it really doesn't matter, I don't work in that field anymore, and I don't even plan on going back. I hate it.

Yes it was tough, but not as tough as dealing with many tens of thousands of dollars of debt.
Hell, I wish I could have back all that time and money I wasted.

That's a real degree.

In my case, I don't think I'd be making 6 figures in a job I enjoy today if I didn't have a degree. I didn't work while I was in school but I worked my a$$ off during the summer and vacations. I don't think that I would have graduated magna cum laude if I had to work while I was in school.

All in all, I'd say the 4K of debt and the hard work was worth it.
Yea, well times were different 20 years ago.

How are you making 6 figures in rah cha cha?

That's for sure. I went to a private college and tuition and room and board was about $6 - 7/k year.

How am I making 6 figures? I've worked at the same company for 20 yrs, I've paid my dues, and I've have had some successes.

Where do you live in NY?

I hear that.
I think SUNY tuition at the time was ~2500-3000 a year or semester, I can't remember. Which was still a great deal.

Another amazing thing is that I earned $8.50/hr working at DuPont 20 years ago. I don't think that kids today earn nearly that much.
