How much space should I reserve for Vista?

I'm going to have a separate partition solely for Vista. Now, I heard it requires at least 16GB for installation, but upon installation, it'll be less, like 10gb maybe? With programs, including MS Office, and one 5GB game, I'm thinking I need about 25GB for the partition. Does that sound like enough? Will having low free space impact performance?
