i know eventually we get to electrons and photons or whatever the quantum objects are, as these cannot be further broken down, which thus means that systems of the compositional complexity of computers cannot be made at such levels.

there is no limit, theres even smaller things than that called quarks. It will take thousands of years to get that small so we wont be alive then....besides, I like the sizes of things now, i dont want any smaller computers because i am 6'4" and its very annoying using stuff made for small people.
