I am 19, on average I would say 6-7 hours. On weekends I can sleep up to 8 hours.

For some reason I go to bed at 3:30 and get up at 7:30, not sure why but I guess it works

I aim for 8 hours but rarely get it. I'd say 7 hours per night on average. 20 years old.

Fixed ;)

Do old people sleep less? I thought they would need more /

I've noticed that older people tend to sleep around 4 hrs. (this was common among the folks that were retired but rehired as consultants (65+ yr old) at Gillette)

7 ish. If I miss a lot of sleep during the week, I can sleep 12-15hrs on a weekend.

It's a fact, the older you get the less sleep you need. 6 hrs is just about right for me

5-6 hrs per night average, 23

But during the weekends... watch out! I get 12+ hrs. If I didn't drink so many damn beers each night the sleep I do get would probably be more effective.

I'm 52. I get about 5-6 hours during the work week (I work 4 10s) but tend to make some up over the weekend.
