With the destination charges, it looks like the EX stickers for around $19k. So your price of $17,900 might not be too bad. Try and hit them for another 5% anyway, which would put it at around $17,100.

What color is it? My friend bought a new 2007 black coupe EX, auto for $17800 and my girlfriend bought a 2007 white LX automatic for $15,500. This was last year and in the Boston area.

I would try for 17500 or something.

If it helps at all I paid $17K OTD for my wife's 2007 Civic LX last July. That included 6% sales tax.

The ebst deals can be had (from Honda) by Identifying exactly what you want, requesting quotes (online) from every dealer in your area (at least ones you are willing to drive to and do business with) and sit back and relax. Tell them you are buying in the next week. When the quotes come in take the lowest and call your preferred dealer and ask if they could beat it. All you need is one low quote and you are set. I used this technique to buy the Civic and it worked very well. I got the car for less than $16K without fees. I made sure to negotiate an OTD price.

First, great username. I'm sure you have some pretty severe burns?

Second, check CarsDirect. Give or take a few $, their target price is probably what you'll be able to get. I think Edmunds has the same service.

Looking to save some cash on gas, huh?
You'll miss the turbo; I take it was $17.5k before TTL?
