How much should tire chains cost?

4 wheels are just as susceptable at losing tracting on ice as 2 wheels...


I paid $40 for an entire set at les Schwab... and if I don't use them I can return them after April 15th for a full refund.
Les Schwab is far and away the best tire store on the planet

Well I assume I'll only need two since I have a 2wd vehicle.

Sometimes the people at Big Bear won't let you pass unless you have:

1. An AWD or 4WD vehicle with winter tires
or
2. snow chains
